The Ginkgo International 7 Position Magnet Knife Bar, 15-Inch, Maple will securely store and protect your high end cutlery and give you the opportunity to display your favorite knives. Attaching a fine blade to a magnet bar prevents them from rattling around in a drawer full of knives that may chip or dull your blade. Magnet bars can also keep your very sharp knives out of reach of small children. The bars must be mounted high enough to prevent children from accessing them. All hardware for mounting is included. Also, be sure to keep the bar away from high traffic areas where someone may inadvertently brush against blades. Two sizes, 15-inch and 12-inch, are available in your choice of American grown hardwoods: Cherry, Maple, or Walnut. All magnets are Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnets. These rare earth metals are capable of holding a super strong magnetic field. The magnet bars should hold any size knife up to a 10-inch knife. Always be sure to test your knife on the magnet bar to insure it is securely held in place. All magnet bars are made in Woodridge, Illinois from renewably grown hardwoods.
